OverviewFeaturesBenefitsSpecifications
Omnicell understands that when it comes to medical supply dispensing automation , one size does not fit all. That’s why we developed OptiFlex CL. It is a supply inventory management system designed for the unique needs of specialty areas such as the cath lab, endoscopy, diagnostic and interventional radiology, and electrophysiology.
OptiFlex CL is ideal for lab managers and materials managers because it automatically tracks supplies and procedures to the physician and patient on each case. It streamlines the replenishment process, minimizes inventory costs, and improves charge capture.
Powerful OptiFlex CL software can track medical supplies in multiple locations to permit greater control and accuracy in ordering and inventory management. The system can be used with both open and closed supply cabinet architecture for ultimate versatility.
With OptiFlex CL you can easily track all medical supplies back to the procedure type, physician, patient, and specialty area technician. Technicians simply scan items or kits as products are used during a procedure. Lot and serial number information can be scanned when products requiring that information are used. Warnings are given if an expired product is scanned or if the product contains latex. Procedures may also be charged in Optiflex CL. When the case is completed, inventory is decremented, charges are sent, and a summary report may be printed for auditing.

Omnicell® Catheter Hardware Module
The Catheter Hardware Module allows hospitals to secure, dispense, and electronically track catheter usage. With this module integrated in the supply cabinet, you can control access to catheters, reduce on-hand inventory, and eliminate stockouts.
Space Saver, Time Saver: The Catheter Hardware Module has the greatest storage capacity in the industry, with 12 line items per square foot and 48 per catheter module. Product dedicated locations and a unique "Find Item" feature with Omnicell’s guiding lights feature help users quickly locate needed catheters in seconds.
Omnicell Suture Hardware Module
The Suture Hardware Module installs in the Omnicell medical supply cabinet to secure, dispense, and automatically track suture usage. The Suture Hardware Module helps eliminate stockouts, streamlines restocking procedures, and reduces inventories and costs.
Fast Access to Sutures When Needed: Color coding, side loading modules, and a unique "Find Item" feature provide fast access to sutures. The Suture Hardware Module turns the ER and OR into leaner, more organized units, saving staff time in critical life-saving environments.
More Storage in Less Space: Each Suture Hardware Module is designed to hold 24 types of sutures in 2.6 cubic feet of shelf space. A 3-cell Omnicell supply cabinet contains as many as 20 modules, or 480 different types of sutures. The system’s modular design enables flexible configurations that meet the physical requirements of any clinic.
